The Dunn Wildcats name was developed in 2001 from former PAL members. The Wildcats is the Athletic division of the Dunn Police Athletic League, and works with Student Athletes that attend grades 6-12 in various Athletic Programs. Student Athletes are PAL Members that attend school, focus on academics as well as athletics and learn the particular sport they are participating in PAL.
Sports include Basketball, Flag Football, Track and Field, Wrestling, Boxing and Cheerleading.
Students must be enrolled with Dunn Police Athletic League and attending the after-school tutoring program.
The Wildcats 2010-2011 Season will bring about NEW Changes !
All Student Athletes starting in the September 2010 Season will see changes designed to help the student succeed.
Effective September 1, 2010 the following requirements will effect all PAL Members.
1. All Student Athletes must Maintain a "B" Average in all classes.
2. All Student Athletes must attend after-school tutoring and/or College Prep Classes.
3. All student Athletes must perform at least 10 hours community service each month.
4. The Parents of all Student Athletes must attend a monthly parent club meeting and particpate in at least three (3) fundraisers.
